Two people have been arrested for a fatal shooting that occurred in Danville on April 18. The shooting occurred in the 700 block of Arlington Rd. 34-year-old Christopher Darnell Moore was killed and four others were injured in the shooting.

The Danville Police Department has arrested 26-year-old Darryl Maurice Newby, of Danville, on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, reckless handling of a firearm, and shooting or discharging a firearm in a public place.

Additionally, a 16-year-old male has been arrested on charges of malicious wounding, shooting at a car with malice, shooting or discharging a firearm in a public place, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, reckless handling of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm under the age of 18.
