There were no injuries during a fire in Danville on Wednesday. The Danville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 10 Dula St. at 5:05 pm.
Upon arrival crews found a single story residential structure with heavy smoke pushing from all four sides. The occupants met crews in the yard and advised that everyone was outside and accounted for.
Crews quickly made entry and began attacking the fire, which was mostly in the attic space. The fire was brought under control in about ten minutes. Crews remained on the scene for about an hour and a half overhauling, and investigating the cause of the fire.
The cause was determined to be an unattended candle that ignited the structure. No injuries were reported and the occupants are staying with family.
