A man has been arrested after sexually assaulting a juvenile in Rockingham County. The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office says that on March 20, deputies were dispatched to the area of Brookside Dr in Eden in regards to a trespasser. 

Deputies arrived on scene and learned that the caller’s granddaughter had been visited by an adult male the juvenile had met on the internet. The adult male had already left the area.

After an extensive investigation 19-year-old Noe Rafael Cebrero-Galvan, of Winston Salem, was charged with Statutory Sex offense with a child under 15 (Felony), First Degree Burglary (Felony), Solicit Child by Computer (Felony), and Sexual Battery. 

Cebrero-Galvan was arrested by the Winston Salem Police Department on April 30 and taken before a magistrate where he was given no bond.
