The Danville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying a male involved in a hit and run Sunday morning, Sept. 14.
Around 1:30 am Sunday, officers were flagged down in the 600 block of Lynn Street where a 28-year-old female had been struck by a vehicle and was lying in the roadway.
The female had non-life threatening injuries and was transported by the Danville Life Saving Crew from the scene.
A suspect was identified as wearing what appears to be a red top and bottoms, both with a white stripe, driving a gold or champagne Honda. The driver side fender is a mismatched color.
