The body of a man that had been reported missing was found in a pond in Danville on Friday. According to the Danville Police Department, officers responded to the retention pond behind RISE Dispensary in the 800 block of West Main Street on Friday.

Once on scene, officers recovered the body of 86-year-old Thomas Elbert Meadows, who had been reported missing on September 9. There were no signs of foul play.
