Virginia’s first casino is now open for business. On Friday the grand opening was held for the 30,000-square-foot facility in Bristol with 870 slots, 21 tables and a sportsbook. There are also non-smoking and high limit gaming areas. It’s open 24/7/365. Danville’s Caesars Casino is now projected to open in 2024. It was to open at the end of next year but according to Caesars officials supply chain issues and site challenges are behind the delay.
