A Henry County shooting on Saturday leaves one person dead and another injured. Police say they were called to a Bassett apartment complex by a man who said he had been shot. He was airlifted to a Roanoke hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Investigators found a woman in the apartment with gunshot wounds and she died at the scene. The shootings remain under investigation and anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
