Chatham Mayor Will Pace is not running for re-election in November. According to the Star-Tribune Pace said it is time for someone else to step in and serve as mayor. He was the youngest mayor in Chatham’s history when elected in 2018. Pace now works with the House of Delegates and says that position will require him to be out of town more often. The candidate filing deadline for the November election is June 21.
