Danville police are crediting tips from the public with locating the vehicle involved in a deadly hit and run collision last week. A photo of the vehicle was posted online and hundreds of responses came in. The collision killed Tyler Herndon of Danville. The hit-and-run driver remains at large and if you have video footage between the Gas House on Franklin Turnpike and Orphanage Rd or any connecting streets running off Franklin Turnpike you’re asked to call police.
