The Danville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 133 Westmoreland Ct. Upon arrival units found a two story residential structure with fire and smoke showing from the left side of the structure. It was immediately reported that all occupants were out of the structure.

Three crews made entry into the sructure . One to the first floor, one to the second floor and a third crew to the attic.

Crews encountered fire on all three levels and had to do  a lot of work to expose the fires that were located in ceilings and walls. Crews were able to contain the fire to the rear of the structure and bring it  under control in about thirty minutes.

Two occupants were displaced and are staying with family. Four engines, one ladder truck one safety officer and a Battalion Chief responded and remained on scene for three hours. The cause of the fire is undetermined and no injuries were reported.
