Beginning May 15, the City of Danville is expanding its 2-hour timed parking program to include:
• Craghead Street
• Bridge Street
• Wilson Street (between Bridge Street and Lynn Street)
• Newton Street (between Bridge Street and Lynn Street)
• Colquhoun Street (between Bridge Street and Craghead Street)
This expansion aims to enhance and improve turnover, and to increase access to businesses and services in the River District.
Wednesday, April 15, marks the beginning of a 30-day public notice. Businesses and residents are being notified in the area of this upcoming change.
Two weeks from the May 15 enforcement date, signage will be placed on cars. New street signage will also begin to be placed just before the enforcement date.
