Average gas prices across Virginia are up by six cents compared to last week at $4.38 a gallon, according to AAA, while the average price of gas across the county is down by a penny for the second week in a row to $4.50.

The average price of gas in Danville dropped by a penny this week to $4.18, while the average in Pittsylvania County is up by two cents this week to $4.31 a gallon. The average price in Martinsville is down by three cents this week at $4.15 a gallon, while in Henry County the average price climbed up by three cents to $4.21 a gallon. The average price in Halifax County remained the same this week at $4.17 a gallon.
