On Wednesday, the Danville Fire Department responded to Schoolfield Elementary School for an animal rescue. Engine 4 responded and on arrival were informed of “purring” and “meowing” coming from a drainage pipe on site.

E4’s crew accessed the pipe and were able to lure out the kitten and bring it to safety.
