Average gas prices across Virginia dropped slightly for the second week in a row as the average price is down by two cents to $3.46 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country remained the same at $3.65 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville dropped by four cents $3.33, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is down by a penny to $3.36 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price is up by two cents to $3.26 and in Henry County the average price is unchanged at $3.32. Prices in Halifax County dropped by three cents to $3.41 a gallon.
