One man was injured during a shooting in Danville on Tuesday afternoon. Just after 4 pm, officers responded to the area of Halifax St. and Noble Ave. for a report of shots fired.

The 32-year-old male victim had an argument with a woman that he was acquainted with. The woman also had another male with her.

As a result of the altercation, shots were fired and the man was shot. Injuries appear to be non-life threatening at this time.

Officers do have the name of a potential suspect and leads are being worked, according to Matt Bell with the Danville Police Department.
