Anglers Park (including the boat ramp) will be closed April 5-7, 2024 to accommodate the Danville Dash mountain biking event. Trail users are asked to use other sections of the Riverwalk Trail during this time. People traveling to Anglers Park should expect increased traffic, limited parking, and lots of people around the Anglers Park area.

The Danville Dash race is hosted by the North Carolina Interscholastic Cycling League, an organization that strives for teens to develop strong minds, bodies, and character traits through mountain biking.
