Average gas prices across Virginia increased by four cents this week to $3.00 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is up by six cents to $3.12 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville increased by three cents $2.85, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is up by two cents to $2.89 a gallon. In Martinsville the average price dropped by two cents to $2.88, while in Henry County the average price is up by four cents to $2.91.

Average prices in Halifax County are down by three cents to $2.95 a gallon.
