Danville’s Transit authority will be making changes to the existing schedule of their Reserve A Ride offering starting in 2024.  Due to a driver shortage starting January 2nd the last boarding time Monday – Saturday will go from 12:30AM back to 9PM.

The transit system encourages passengers that may not already be signed up to receive texts and alerts to do so, so when services change they will be made aware.  Text alerts can be set up be sending “dtupdate” to 24541.

The department plans to continue to recruit drivers in hopes of resuming the 12:30AM service.  To learn more about Danville Transit click here!
