(Danville, VA) Crews with the Danville Fire department were dispatched just after 3am Saturday to reports of a structure fire at 118 Princess Drive in North Danville.  Upon arrival first responders found heavy fire coming from the rear of the house.  The fire was quickly extinguished, and it was confirmed all the homes occupants were safely outside.

Crews remained on site for roughly two hours to make sure the fire was completely out, and the residents were taken care of.  The Danville Fire Marshall’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
