Renovations are continuing to progress at the former Dan River White Mill. River City TV posted pictures on Facebook on Thursday that showed contractors installing the first windows on the top floor.

The pictures also showed the framing starting to take shape for some of the future apartments. Dan River Falls will include one, two, and three bedroom units on the top three floors of the western two-thirds of the building.

The project will also feature commercial space on the first floor and the eastern one-third of the second floor. The lower level will be 219 parking spots for tenants. The project is expected to be completed in late 2024.
