An Altavista alum and former University of Virginia football player is helping the families of the three UVA football players that were shot and killed last week. Kansas City Chiefs safety Juan Thornhill wore cleats during Sunday night’s game that honored Devin Chandler, D’Sean Perry, and Lavel Davis Jr.

The cleats featured the jersey numbers of the three victims. Now Thornhill is raffling off the cleats to benefit the families of the players.

Each entry into the raffle is $20 and those who donate will enter a raffle to win the cleats along with a Juan Thornhill signed jersey and two tickets to a Chiefs playoff game this season. The drawing will be held on Nov. 23, to enter the drawing click here.
