A pedestrian walkway in Gretna is to be renamed to memorialize Northside High School. According to the Star-Tribune Vice-Mayor Dianne Jennings and other Northside High School alumni led the effort to name the walkway on the side of Canaan Land Lane as the “Northside High School Bobcat Trail.” A ribbon-cutting ceremony is being planned for Labor Day weekend although an exact time hasn’t been set.
