A Texas legislative committee released its preliminary report from its investigation into the Uvalde mass shooting that left 19 children and 2 adults dead. The committee determined there were a series of failures by multiple law enforcement agencies on the scene. Lawmakers also determined failures within the Uvalde school system also contributed to the incident as did the shooter’s family and social media where the shooter made his intentions known.
