The Virginia National Guard increased the State Tuition Assistance benefit from $7,000 to $20,000. According to 8 News the money can be used for educational programs at accredited, nonprofit private and public institutions in support of a National Guard service member’s personal and professional development. Recipients need to be an active guard member and maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Applications for the fall 2022 semester are due by June 30.
