The River District Association announces a new quarterly program where businesses can get the opportunity to crowdfund money for great ideas. It’s called “Start-Up Slam” and the first event is at 6:00 p.m. on June 28th at The Lazy Bee in the North Main Business District. Up to 15 participants will share their ideas then attendees vote on their favorite with the winner getting all the cash collected at the door – no strings attached.
