Virginia State Police investigators credit tips from the public in helping them find a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision on Friday. It happened in the area of Mount Cross Rd and Mill Creek Rd. when the driver of a red pickup truck struck another vehicle in the area then fled the scene. A photo was posted on social media and the tips led deputies to locate the vehicle and charge the driver.
