A woman in Roxboro is killed in her sleep from multiple gunshot wounds. Police say it happened early Friday at a home in the 1300 block of Graham Drive. The woman identified as Angela Jeffres was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators found what were described as numerous sheel casings outside the home. It’s believed Jeffres was not the intended target of the shooter. This is Roxboro’s first homicide in 2022.
