A Virginia bank was robbed Tuesday afternoon, and that led to a police chase. It happened yesterday just before 1pm in Roanoke County, where an employee at Pinnacle Bank called police to report a robbery. Shortly afterward, an officer located a suspect vehicle and attempted to make a traffic stop. But the driver took off, with police giving chase. The pursuit eventually ended in a residential area, where the bank robber was taken into custody, and an undisclosed amount of money was recovered. No bank employees, police officers, nor the suspect was injured. The whole thing remains under investigation.
