DANVILLE, VA – Just before 8AM Thursday Danville police were called to the 300 block of Henry Street for reports of man found in his car with a gunshot wound.  When officers arrived, they found 46-year-old Charlie Junior Williams of Danville unresponsive with what was later confirmed to be a gunshot wound.  The driver side window of Williams Ford Aspire had been shattered.  His body has been sent to the Roanoke Medical Examiner’s office.  Danville Police are treating this as a homicide and the investigation is ongoing.
