PITTSVILLE, VA – Around 1AM Friday morning authorities received a call of a single vehicle crash on Wade Rd in Pittsville.  The driver an elderly male was the only occupant and was ejected from the vehicle.  He was airlifted from the scene with serious injuries.  The Gretna volunteer fire dept and Cool Brach rescue responded to the call.  No word on the driver’s condition at this point.
