(Collinsville, Va.) — The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the man who robbed the Valley Star Credit Union branch in Collinsville Wednesday afternoon.
The hold-up was reported at about 4:15 p.m. Investigators said a white male walked up Wheeler Avenue, entered the credit union and handed the teller a note demanding cash.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the robber fled on foot. Witnesses said he got into a gold hatchback sedan and sped away.
The robber did not appear to be armed and no employees were harmed. The credit union closed immediately after the robbery.
A surveillance photo shows the suspect is a white male with a brown mustache and beard, wearing dark glasses and a dark baseball cap and a gray t-shirt.
