(Cascade, Va.) – Virginia State Police have issued a senior alert for an 81-year-old Pittsylvania County man.

James George Gianakos was last seen Sunday morning on Oak Hill Road in the Cascade community. He was wearing a burnt orange shirt, khaki pants and dark tennis shoes.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s office says that he is believed to be in danger. Investigators say he walks with a limp and carries his left arm close to his body.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s department.
