The Danville Police Department is hosting its 2nd annual 5k with 5-0.  The race will start and end at the departments new headquarters at 1 Community way, Danville.

Danville Police officers and staff will take part in the race. This event is designed to promote healthy living and self-care within the community. Danville PD take great pride in connecting with citizens and continuing to build upon their existing positive relationships as well as create new ones. They invite the entire community to join in! Participants can either run or walk. DPD would like to thank The Brick running store for their partnership for this event. All proceeds will go to DPD Community Relations.

The 5K will be comprised of flat and hilly surfaces making it the perfect combination for a challenging and rewarding race. The $25 registration fee includes a t-shirt, police swag bag, snacks, drinks, and your bib. Registration to include the T-shirt ends on September 9, 2022, at 11:59 PM. Runners/walkers can also sign up the day of the event, but it will not include a t-shirt. There will be prizes for first place, second place, and third place for the top women and men groups.
