Danville, Va – FDI or Foreign Direct Investment magazine has named Danville one of the top micro-cities in North and South America for economic development. Every two years, the magazine studies cities with populations less than 100-thousand, and grades them in five categories – economic potential, business friendliness, human capital and lifestyle, cost effectiveness, and connectivity. Of the 37 cities studied, Danville placed eighth on the list, with Wilmington, Delaware taking the top honors.
