(Lynchburg, VA) – The Lynchburg police department is searching for a 20-year-old from Richmond after her allegedly shot and killed 22-year-old Daysun Wilson of Halifax. Late Monday evening officers responded to a 911 call of shots fired at the Millwood apartments, when they arrived, they learned that Wilson had been taken by personal vehicle to Lynchburg General Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after he arrived.

During the course of the investigation authorities determined the victim and the suspect 20-year-old Ke John McGhee of Richmond knew each other and during an altercation McGhee drew a handgun and shot Wilson. McGhee is facing charges of Secon Degree Murder and Use of a firearm in the commission of a murder.

Officials are still working to locate McGhee who is described as a black male, 5’9 tall and weighing approximately 130 lbs. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Ke John McGhee is urged to contact the Lynchburg Police Department.
