One man was arrested after a drug bust in Henry County on Wednesday. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Eden Police Department, conducted a multi-agency, narcotics investigation that resulted in the execution of multiple search warrants in Henry County and Eden.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office executed narcotics-related search warrants at three locations in Henry County: 7157 Axton Road, 7358 Axton Road, and 17 Friendly Road within the Sandy Level community.

At 7157 Axton Road, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team secured the residence. One individual was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. During the operation, deputies recovered a stolen Cadillac reported out of Maryland.

At 7358 Axton Road, deputies located and seized a quantity of Crack Cocaine, and an unknown powder substance along with packaging materials and items consistent with the manufacturing of illegal narcotics.

At 17 Friendly Road, deputies seized a quantity of methamphetamine.

59-year-old Ronald Bernard Valentine was taken into custody during the search. Valentine has been charged with failure to appear and is currently incarcerated at the Henry County Adult Detention Center with a $1,000.00 secured bond. More charges are pending analysis of the drugs from the Virginia Department of Forensic Science.
