A company wanting to build a data center campus in Pittsylvania County has postponed a public hearing for the project. Balico LLC has requested that the public hearing for the rezoning application be postponed to the April 15 Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors business meeting.

The public hearing had previously been scheduled for the March 18, 2025, Board business meeting.

Balico, LLC is requesting 763.16 acres be rezoned from R-1, Residential Suburban Subdivision and A-1, Agricultural District to M-2, Industrial District Heavy Industry in the Banister Election District.
