A fifteen year old in Yanceyville has been arrested and charged with first degree murder for a shooting at a gas station on Saturday. The incident occurred in the parking lot of Marathon Gas at 333 Main Street in Yanceyville.

23-year-old Trayshawn Herbin was shot and killed during the incident. The 15-year-old was taken into custody and is being held at a juvenile facility awaiting further court proceedings.
