Danville Fire Administration was recently made aware of several citizens receiving phone calls from a solicitor claiming to represent the Danville Firefighters’ Benefit Fund, seeking monetary donations.
The City of Danville Fire Department has no affiliation with any vendor or contractor that would make such calls.
The department says they have no knowledge of any such “fund” that exists and wouldn’t utilize a phone solicitation service for donations.
