Sovah Health has announced the elimination of the chief operating officers positions in Danville and Martinsville. According to the Danville Register & Bee, the news was told to employees in a letter on Friday.

The COO responsibilities will now reportedly be distributed to other members of the administrative staff. Market conditions were the reason given in the letter as the reason for getting rid of the positions. The COO at Sovah Health Danville was John Kent and the COO at Martinsville had just started the job last week.
