(Blairs, Va.) – Family members confirm that Ny’aliah Charlan King, 10, of Hurt, Va. has died from the injuries received in an accident that happened Thursday on U.S. 29 in Blairs.

The wreck sent the child’s mother and two siblings to the hospital: a two-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy. At last report, both were on the critical list at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

State Police say Jeremy Fowler, 34, of Chatham was driving his freightliner bobtail truck headed north on 29 when he turned left and into the path of southbound car.

The car was driven by Thuueda Lashar Davis, 28, of Hurt. Davis and another passenger were taken to SOVAH Health Hospital in Danville. The three children were airlifted to Roanoke. Fowler was not injured in the crash.

The children were not wearing seat belts or in child restraints.

State Police say charges are pending.
