(Danville, Va.) — The Danville Police Department, in conjunction with local, state and federal law enforcement partners, has established tip lines for the public to provide information related to the abduction of Emma Grace Kennedy. The numbers are 434-773-8318 or 434-773-8319.

Local, state and federal partners are monitoring these lines around the clock. Authorities are in the process of following up on numerous tips that have been received.

On Sunday, June 3, at approximately 7:55 p.m., Emma Grace Kennedy was abducted from the Kwik Mart located at 4912 Riverside Drive (Route 58) in Danville. The abduction occurred after Carl Ray Kennedy, the subject, assaulted the victim’s mother. Currently, the whereabouts of the victim and Kennedy are unknown. Kennedy has ties to the North Carolina area.

At the request of the Danville Police Department, the Virginia State Police activated an Amber Alert early Monday for Emma Grace Kennedy. Emma Grace Kennedy is 7 months old, born October 31, 2017. She is a white female, 2 foot, 2 inches tall, and weighs 18 pounds. She has blue eyes and short blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a light blue onesie.

Kennedy may be driving a 2007 gold-colored Suzuki with front end damage. The vehicle has a North Carolina license plate, with the number FAA-1873 or EKZ-5093. He also has access to a blue Jeep Cherokee, a Dodge truck and a Toyota Camry. These vehicles also could have the FAA-1873 or EKZ-5093 tags.
