(Chatham, Va.) — The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office has located a man who went missing yesterday.

73-year-old Steve Rigney was found about 6:15 this morning and is being checked out by medical personnel.

Rigney, who suffers from dementia and other health issues, was last seen about 4:30 yesterday afternoon driving a zero turn style lawn mower. This was near the Liberty Gas Station on Franklin Turnpike.

Authorities said he had been found early this morning but provided no additional details.
