(Danville, Va.) – A Danville teen is being held in the W.W. Moore detention home following a Friday homicide, the second in as many days in the city.

The 17-year-old was arrested within hours of the homicide. His name is being withheld because of his age.

Police have identified the victim as 21-year-old Patrick Andreaus Gunn of Danville.

Gunn was found dead inside a car on Paxton Street around 7:45 p.m. Friday. Police say he died of a gunshot wound.

The teen is charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm in a felony.
