POSITION: Radio/Digital Account Executive

LOCATION: Danville, VA

Piedmont Broadcasting Corporation, WAKG and WBTM in Danville, VA has added a new division, Piedmont Digital Group, to the mix.  With our expansion comes the need to increase our sales force.   We are looking for an experienced sales executive who is familiar with the art of strategizing how to best serve their client’s advertising and budget needs combining both radio and digital marketing.  Individuals with a background in sales and/or marketing are a plus.  Qualified candidates must also be able to meet deadlines, work in both an individual and group-goal oriented environment, be familiar with Microsoft Office software and ready to dive into the world of unlimited earning potential.  Sales Executives not only offer radio commercials and programming sponsorships on our two heritage stations who have served the area for 95 years, WAKG and WBTM, but also provide Web Design, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), OTT (Over-The-Top Media), Facebook and Instagram Ads, Video Pre-Roll, and other customized digital services.
