A suspect from a bank robbery on Wednesday in Roxboro was apprehended in Danville early Saturday morning. 59-year-old Gary Allmond was apprehended by Danville Police after robbing the Carter Bank & Trust at 823 North Main St. after a thorough investigation by Roxboro Police.

He is being held in Danville on a fugitive warrant awaiting an extradition hearing to be brought back to North Carolina.
