The Danville Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings late Wednesday night in the 3400 block of Riverside Drive.
Around 11:20 pm officers responded to the restaurant and found one adult male who was struck by multiple gunshots in the parking lot. He is being treated at a medical facility for severe injuries.
This was an isolated incident, and at this time there is no threat to public safety. Police are continuing to investigate.
