Today is Business Appreciation Day and the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce is marking the day with an event in collaboration with the Danville Office of Economic Development and Tourism, the Pittsylvania County Office of Economic Development, the River District Association, and the Black Business Collaborative. The day celebrates the more than 3,100 businesses and manufacturers choosing to locate in the Danville- Pittsylvania County region. The event is at 5:00 p.m. at JTI Leaf Services on Stinson Drive and is by invitation only.
