Martinsville Public Works crews will be replacing a main fire hydrant valve today on Corn Tassel Trail, which is between the Spruce Street Extension and Hazelwood Lane. According to WSLS service will be out until early afternoon then a boil water order will be in effect through Friday. Water used for cooking, drinking, washing food or brushing teeth needs to come to a rolling boil for at least one minute.
