Gov. Glenn Youngkin names Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative’s general counsel and vice-president of administration James Patrick Guy to serve on the Virginia State Air Pollution Control Board. It develops and disseminates Virginia’s air regulations which cover industrial facilities and other fixed-emission sources; mobile sources such as vehicle emissions; and establishes parameters to ensure that applicable projects conform with federal requirements. Guy’s four-year board term will begin July 1.
